Tour Poland with Milworld.pl: Interesting winter mountain trails

Let's enjoy the end of winter, which slowly begins to run away from us. The days are getting longer and sometimes the sun comes out from behind the clouds. The winter touring of Poland offer from Milworld.pl will refer to the mountain trails. Polish mountains offer beautiful views. They are wonderful at any time of the year. However, only in winter can you see their true charm. Poland is famous for its well-kept and safe mountain routes. Therefore, take advantage of it and go sightseeing! Here are some of the most interesting mountain trails in Poland.

Beskid Sądecki

An alternative to the Tatras besieged in winter. If you do not like crowds of people on the trails and you like rather calm hiking conditions - this place is for you. We recommend especially around Piwniczna Zdrój. The approaches we encounter on the route are not too demanding, especially for toughened mountaineers. The surroundings are very safe due to dense afforestation. Therefore, you will not be exposed to snow avalanches. Beskid Sądecki enchants with beautiful views. Travel routes are gentle and do not cause problems even for beginners. If you like taking photos of Mother Nature, you've come to a place created for it.

Beskid Żywiecki

The two best-known peaks of this region are Barania Góra and Babia Góra. These peaks are not very friendly. We would rather classify them as more demanding. Especially when the frost catches up a bit and the road gets slippery. You should be very careful then, because it is easy to get injured. An unpleasant wind blows on the tops of both mountains. Remember that! Because of this you have to take a warmer layer of clothes with you. From Barania and Babia Góra we will see beautiful views of the surrounding hills and valleys. The treacherousness of these mountains is at a high level. Therefore, caution first of all!

Route to Śnieżka

This is a trip for people characterized by self-denial and high motivation. It takes about 4 hours to reach the top. Assuming you start at the Wang Temple in Karpacz. Initially, the whole runs through the crowded trail to the ruins of the Bronek Czech shelter. The rest of the route is changed in winter. Thanks to this, you can enjoy the beautiful views. Only in winter! If you want to see Śnieżka from a slightly different perspective, take the trail leading to the Czech Chalet Lucni Bouda. Then we only have to climb to the top. This is a stony approach, therefore appropriate footwear and caution are welcome. Then enjoy the views straight from the top. If you have a lot of strength and you want to prove something to yourself - go ahead!

Gęsia Szyja

The Tatras are the most popular of the Polish mountains. Being near Rusinowa Polana, you have to be tempted to climb the Gęsia Szyja. If you do not find yourself in unpleasant conditions, such as mountain wind or ice, you should not have any difficulties. The top is low and the trail is easy and safe. The view from the top is vast and breathtaking. The forest landscape prevails around. If you like calm, woody landscapes, then go ahead and take your steps in this direction.

Trzydniowiański Wierch

From the top you can see the Polish part of the Western Tatras. The road to the top leads mainly through the forest. The final leg of the route is exposed. Due to the lack of steep climbs, hiking should not be difficult. Many specialists recommend the red trail in winter, which starts about 20 minutes from the local hostel. Further on, the road should lead through Krowi Żleb and Kulawiec. The panorama we experience when entering the Trzydniowiański Wierch is definitely unique.

Appropriate clothing when going out to the mountains in winter is the foundation! There are a few basic items of clothing that must be at the right level. You can't get cold while hiking and you have to feel safe in your outfit.

Let's start with the jacket. In winter, a softshell or membrane jacket should be used. Softshell will be useful during better conditions. When conquering mountain trails, it is better to look for good weather. The Falcon softshell jacket from the Polish Texar brand will be perfect for a winter trip. Made of a combination of Spandex and Polyester with a fleece lining. The outfit has two large chest pockets and three on the sleeves. Put on a moisture-resistant Winblocker Texar winter hat on your head. The model protects well against wind. Multifunctional scarf SA Co. Frost Tech ™ Face Shield ™ is more comfortable than a regular scarf. The shawl wicks moisture away and provides thermal protection. In addition, it stops the cold breeze that you can expect in the mountains. In addition, it guarantees a stylish look! During the trip you will need Mil-Tec gaiters. Snow sometimes likes to break in where it shouldn't. And when it falls into shoes, it's especially not very pleasant. Thanks to the gaiters, the snow will not stick to your legs. Protectors are resistant to dirt and soaking. Warm gloves are one of the most important pieces of equipment during a mountain expedition. Mechanix Wear Polar Pro gloves are resistant and made of the highest quality materials. EVA foam properly protects the knuckles, so that nothing should happen to your hands when falling. They insulate well from cold and adverse conditions.

When you go to the mountains, you must remember about safety. This is the basis of every trip you plan. When everything goes as it should, you can enjoy the beauty of Polish nature that surrounds you. Mountains allow for the discovery of how little is man to the surrounding world.
