Once you have started your adventure with airsoft, you have completed your tactical equipment and spend more and more time playing games with others, it's time to invest in a solid case for your replica. Thanks to it you will be able to conveniently transport it. You can throw the cover over your shoulder or back. The equipment that you will be carrying will be properly protected against abrasions, bumps or ordinary dirt. Therefore, check how to choose the right case for the ASG replica!
In this article you will read about:
- what to look for when buying,
- which models are worth your attention.
Reasonable purchase is the basis
The first basic principle of a successful purchase of a replica cover is to adjust the length to your weapon. When it comes to the material that the cover should be made of, make sure it is waterproof. The weather likes to play tricks, especially when we want it to be pretty. It is good that this material can be easily kept clean and that it is durable, i.e. resistant to abrasion. Let's be honest - you will definitely put the cover on the ground. In the forest, the ground hides various surprises. The material should be solid enough to keep the cover from tearing just by sliding it. In this case, nylon or Cordura works best.
The interior of a good ASG replica cover must be lined with foam, a sponge or other material that will cushion the equipment during a fall. Thanks to the stiffening, the weapon will not move and bump during transport. It is worth the case to have internal straps. This solution will make the transported replica additionally stabilized. Your equipment weighs so putting it right inside will increase the comfort of carrying.
An additional advantage is the solid carrying strap and strong handles, which you can be sure that they will not break during dynamic movement. The number of pockets in the cover also matters. You will probably transport most of the smaller items of your equipment in them.
Choose the right model
If you have a replica with a maximum length of 106 cm, check the Condor Single Rifle Case 42”. You can transport both long and short weapons in it. Its interior is filled with 2 cm thick foam, which will protect your replica from damage. In this case you can also move magazines thanks to 2 pouches. The bag can be carried in two ways: on the shoulder or classically with a reinforced handle.
If you have a slightly shorter replica, i.e. up to 71 cm, see Condor Rifle Case 28”. Foam filling protects the weapon, and 2 straps stabilize the carried equipment. On the front you will find 40 PALS tapes, which makes the cover compatible with the MOLLE assembly system. In addition, two-way zippers can be padlocked.
A very good option is the Condor Javelin 36” case designed for transporting a replica up to 91 cm. You can carry the bag like a backpack, on your shoulder or with a handle. Thanks to the Velcro straps inside you stabilize the carried equipment. In addition, you can fit magazines inside. The bag is equipped with a partition that you can unfasten if necessary or divide the middle in half. Move your weapon in one part and your equipment in the other.
If your replica measures up to 100 cm and you care about waterproof material, then the Mil-Tec Rifle Case transport case will be the best. Three Utility pouches increase the capacity of the bag. You can carry it with a suitcase handle. The interior is filled with shock-absorbing foam.
